Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
- Preferred experience with international shipping, customs documentation, and freight management.
- Hazardous materials certification for land, air, and ocean transport.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Infor Syteline, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping systems such as UPS and Fed Ex.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Knowledge of DOT, import/export, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement methods.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on‑time, cost‑effective delivery.
- Schedule and track freight with carriers, freight forwarders, and third‑party logistics providers.
- Monitor shipments and proactively resolve delays, shortages, and other transportation issues.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records to support ISO compliance.
- Partner with sourcing, sales, engineering, service, quality, and production teams to meet operational needs.
- Analyze transportation metrics and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Maintain and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics operations to support ISO compliance.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Receive materials accurately in the ERP system and place them in the correct stock location.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects that improve supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Follow company safety policies and applicable industry regulations.
