Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

PSI seeks an experienced, well-qualified candidate for a full-time Shipping & Receiving Coordinator who will manage incoming and outgoing shipments primarily across our Methuen and Wilmington, MA locations. This role ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient transport of hazardous materials and dangerous goods while overseeing international shipping logistics. As a critical organizational hub, you will coordinate daily operations, partner with carriers, and collaborate across contracts, production, and accounting teams to resolve delivery challenges and optimize transit efficiency.

• Daily Logistics Management:
  Oversee all daily shipping and receiving operations; schedule routine and expedited pickups with commercial carriers.
• Hazardous Materials Compliance:
  Ensure 100% compliance with safety and regulatory standards regarding the handling, packaging, and transport of dangerous goods.
• International Trade & Customs:
  Manage cross-border documentation, customs requirements, and international regulations to prevent transit delays.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Serve as the primary liaison between contracts, production, accounting, and logistics partners to streamline workflows.
• Problem Resolution:
  Proactively identify delivery roadblocks, trace delayed shipments, and resolve billing or inventory discrepancies.

• Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination.
• Certified and experienced in handling Hazardous Materials / Dangerous Goods regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA, or IMDG).
• Solid understanding of international shipping documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively across multiple corporate departments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally move heavier items using material handling equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and kneel for extended periods throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $70K–$85K
. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, and specialized skills.
