* Position Summary:

** The Manager/Senior Manager of Accounting oversees the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and efficient management of accounting processes. This role is responsible for leading a team of accountants and collaborating across departments to support financial planning and decision-making.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Manage and oversee daily operations of the general accounting function, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany, and payroll.
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and other regulatory requirements.
* Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with external auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to support audit and compliance activities.
* Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
* Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
* Support ERP system upgrades and financial system integrations.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
* 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
* Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle).
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Skills:

*** Experience in a publicly traded or global company.
* Familiarity with SOX compliance.
* Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
