Tecomet, a global leader in high-precision manufacturing, is expanding its 3rd shift CNC team in Wilmington, MA. As a CNC Machinist, you’ll help produce complex parts that support the medical device, aerospace, and defense industries. In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to tight tolerances
• Machine a variety of metal components across complex geometries
• Perform tooling changes, offsets, and basic troubleshooting
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
• Conduct hand finishing and basic machine maintenance
• Maintain job documentation, routers, and production logs
• Contribute to Lean and 5S initiatives on the shop floor
• Support quality, safety, and productivity goals

Required:

• 3+ years CNC machining experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience setting up and running CNC machines independently
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision inspection tools
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining
• Experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume production shop
• Exposure to medical or aerospace machining standards
