Duration: Perm

Schedule: Night Shift (18.5% shift differential on top of base hourly pay)

Must-Haves:

  • 1+ years of experience maintaining semiconductor processing equipment
  • Experience supporting equipment within one or more of the following areas:
  • Thin Film / PVD, Implant, Photolithography, CVD / Diffusion, Etch
  • Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and follow technical procedures and work instructions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a semiconductor cleanroom manufacturing environment

Day-to-Day:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair process tools to maximize uptime and production efficiency
  • Maintain equipment including AMAT Endura, AMAT Centura, ULVAC, Lam 4420, and similar systems
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, vacuum, and process-related equipment issues
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment performance
  • Complete maintenance documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office tools
  • Support multiple fab areas and equipment platforms as business needs evolve
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures within a cleanroom environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability and uptime

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a top semiconductor manufacturing client. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical semiconductor processing equipment while helping maximize production uptime and manufacturing efficiency. The ideal individual will have hands-on experience supporting fabrication equipment within Thin Film, Implant, Photolithography, CVD/Diffusion, or Etch environments and will enjoy working in a fast-paced, highly technical cleanroom setting.
