Duration: 6 Months with possible extension/conversion Position Summary

This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day electromechanical assembly operations, coordinating workflow, and helping ensure production targets are met safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate brings hands-on manufacturing experience and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving production environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
    Coordinate daily assembly activities, ensuring work is completed on time, to specification, and in compliance with quality standards.
  • Coordinate workflow and prioritize assembly tasks based on production schedules.
  • Read, interpret, and communicate engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures to the team.
  • Monitor production progress and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or issues.
  • Follow and promote safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Provide hands‑on support and technical guidance to assembly personnel as needed.
  • Communicate production status, quality concerns, and escalations to management in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical or material issues.
  • Track and report on key production metrics including output, quality, and on‑time delivery.
  • Required Qualifications
    5+ years of experience supervising manufacturing operations in pilot operation environment.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience in electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production environments.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing lines operation.
  • Demonstrated leadership on the production floor and fluency in manufacturing language and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
  • Strong communication skills — ability to clearly communicate priorities, deliver feedback, and escalations to management in a timely manner.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment where priorities shift frequently.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology, engineering technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in prototype, low-rate, or pre‑production manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with actuator, motor, or electromechanical product assembly.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles: 5S, visual management, standard work, kaizen.
  • Track record of contributing to quality and safety improvements on a production floor.
  • Experience in robotics, aerospace, automotive, or defense manufacturing.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make decisions under time pressure.
  • Work Environment & Physical Requirements
    Production/manufacturing floor environment.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods (8+ hours).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • May require use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as dictated by site safety requirements.
