Laminator / Hand Polisher
Pay: $25–$30+ per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available | Occasional Saturdays
Location: Wilmington, MA
We are looking for a skilled Laminator / Hand Polisher to join our fabrication team. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience working with quartz, natural stone, and porcelain/Dekton and can independently run a lamination station while maintaining exceptional quality standards. This role offers consistent full-time work, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work in a modern fabrication environment alongside experienced craftsmen.
Responsibilities- Perform lamination work on quartz, natural stone, and porcelain/Dekton surfaces
- Read and execute fabrication specifications accurately
- Complete edge work, grinding, polishing, and finishing operations
- Perform wet polishing during lighter lamination periods
- Maintain high-quality standards on seams, edges, and finished surfaces
- Work independently while meeting production schedules and quality expectations
- Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
- Support commercial and residential fabrication projects as production demands increase
- Hands‑on stone lamination experience
- Experience working with quartz, natural stone, and porcelain/Dekton
- Experience with wet polishing and grinding techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to safely handle stone materials and fabrication equipment
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Senior‑level fabrication experience
- Ability to independently manage a lamination station from day one
- Experience in a high‑production stone fabrication environment
- Comfortable working 40–50 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays
- Experience supporting commercial fabrication projects
- Independently running a lamination station within the first 60–90 days
- Producing high‑quality work across quartz, natural stone, and porcelain materials
- Maintaining production pace with minimal supervision
- Contributing to increased shop capacity and on‑time project delivery
