Role Overview
Commercial Lines Account Manager on the Construction Team with a hybrid work schedule. Responsible for servicing assigned commercial insurance accounts with a designated producer, account rounding, and development of new business in accordance with company policies.
Responsibilities- Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage, limits, and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure all service needs are met.
- Generate new business from existing accounts, assigned leads, and contribute to departmental production goals.
- Gather client information and prepare applications for submission to the marketing department for new or renewal coverage.
- Prepare client proposals based on needs, rates, and coverages.
- Prepare all transactions for assigned accounts, including applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, and forms.
- Maintain accuracy of data in the agency management system.
- Handle collections of premiums due.
- Conduct business with an understanding of the company’s earnings and business implications.
- Stay informed about industry changes and trends to anticipate profit objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- 5-7 years of relevant commercial insurance experience.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
- Producer’s license.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Expected salary range: $67,500 – $120,000.
