  • Perform hands‑on hardware integration, including connecting sensors, payloads, communication modules, compute hardware, and embedded control systems.
  • Troubleshoot system‑level issues involving software, hardware interfaces, networking, and real‑time constraints.
  • Work cohesively on multi‑functional teams to deliver reliable, performant, and well‑validated system functionality under dynamic, fast‑paced program needs.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to software architecture, system design improvements, and development best practices.
Qualifications Level II:
  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with ~2 years of software/hardware integration experience.

  • Ability to debug complex system interactions across hardware and software.
  • Understanding of embedded systems concepts (I/O interfaces, timing, networking, real‑time application considerations).
  • Familiarity with software configuration management, defect tracking, and continuous integration tools (e.g., Git Lab, Jenkins).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Experience with UAS, autopilots, and integration (PX4, Ardu Pilot)
  • Experience working with ROS/ROS
    2.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on hardware experience (sensor integration, interfaces, debugging, lab equipment usage)
Desired Qualifications
