Truck Driver CDL B

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Wilmington, MA. The role offers weekly pay and excellent benefits, with a safe, well‑maintained truck, a 26 ft tractor, and routes within a 100‑mile radius of MA. The driver will be scheduled Monday–Friday, start 4:30–6:00 am, and work local home daily routes.

• Weekly pay: $1120 or more
• Hourly: $28.00 per hour
• Hours per week: 40 + additional hours as required
• Paid training and 24/7 roadside maintenance

• 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test
• Class A or Class B CDL with required endorsements (hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire)
• At least 9 months experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years experience in the last 5 years, or 5 years experience in the last 10 years
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and regulations
• Good following of written and oral instructions

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist with customer loading/unloading as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
