Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Wilmington, MA offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Pay: $1280 or more per week; hourly rate $32.00 per hour. 40+ hours per week. Schedule Monday – Friday, start 4:30 AM.
Job:
Drive a 26 ft/53 ft dry van for local home daily routes. Equipment includes pallet jack, lift gate, and hand truck. Endorsement:
Hazmat required within 90 days of hiring. Freight:
Touch – HVAC. Trucks are 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance.

- Minimum 21 years of age
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer: 9 months within the past 3 years OR 2 years within the past 5 years OR 5 years within the past 10 years
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and regulations
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load or unload freight or assist with loading/unloading if required by customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
