Senior Staff Accountant

Our client, a growing private equity-backed management company, is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant to join its Wilmington accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced organization.

• Schedule: Hybrid — 2–3 days/week in office
• Level: Staff or Senior Accountant

• Manage month-end close, account reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare financial reporting and variance analysis
• Partner with local operations leaders on monthly financial reviews
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and tax reporting
  
  Identify and implement accounting process improvements
• Provide reporting, analysis, and support for cross-functional initiatives
• Apply US GAAP principles and support technical accounting research

• 2+ years of public accounting OR 3+ years of full-cycle industry accounting experience
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communicator who is confident, driven, independent, and solutions-oriented
