Brief Summary of Work for this PositionThe Administrative Specialist for the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program serves as an integral member of the program operations team and collaborates with the Program Director and program faculty to support the administrative, operational, and accreditation needs of a developing physician assistant program. This position supports program operations across admissions, accreditation, student services, and clinical education while facilitating communication and coordination among faculty, students, university offices, and clinical partners.
The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced academic and clinical environment.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience- Master's degree
- 2-3 years of progressively responsible administrative or program support experience, preferably in higher education, healthcare, or a clinical training environment
- Experience supporting academic programs, student services, healthcare education, or accreditation-related activities
- Experience coordinating schedules, events, records, or databases involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience working with students, faculty, or healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment
- Strong written communication and organizational skills
