Position OverviewThis position resides within the Systems and Administration Team, a unit within the Global Education Office, and supports Ohio State's global engagement efforts by providing customer service, processing fees and awards, maintaining documentation, and supporting risk management services for students, faculty, and staff participating in global education experiences. The Systems and Administration Team is led by the Lead Global Education Systems Analyst, and this position reports directly to the Global Education Systems Analyst.
The role works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective administration of Global Education programs and services while maintaining a strong student-first approach.
- Maintaining process documentation in the Global Education application system for Ohio State-approved Global Education programs and travel registration applications.
- Overseeing the assessment, payment instructions, and removal, as appropriate, of fees associated with Global Education programs.
- Assisting the Lead Global Education Systems Analyst and Global Education Systems Analyst in monitoring the accuracy of Global Education application workflows.
- Performing data cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of student program records.
- Maintaining course enrollment permission groups for Global Education courses.
- Supporting the Global Education scholarship awarding process.
- Managing administrative inboxes and responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the effective processing of Global Education applications.
- Contributing to a collaborative hybrid work environment while delivering high-quality customer service and operational support.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2 years of relevant experience required.
- 1 years' experience in customer service or communications, including analyzing & interpreting information
- 1 years' experience in operation of computers and related peripheral equipment
- knowledge of Microsoft suite
- Strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Desired candidate has an interest in International Education
- Experience resolving complex issues
- Comfortable interfacing with multiple information systems
- Possesses strong communication skills when working with different teams and stakeholders
- Able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently as well as across multiple teams
The target hiring range for this job profile is $ 18.37 - $26.00 The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
