Automotive Technician / Mechanic
LocationWilmington, North Carolina
Job OverviewThis brand-new state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in early August 2026. Interviews will begin in early July 2026.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and fix vehicles for guests with knowledge and skills
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Ase certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles
- Meeting or exceeding hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
