Overview

Vantaca is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. These reps must live in territory (Northern California & Texas). This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to establish a rewarding sales career in a high growth software company looking to continue to grow quickly in . As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in working closely with both the sales and marketing departments to identify, engage, and qualify businesses, ultimately driving them into our sales funnel.

Responsibilities
  • Research and prospect qualified businesses in our marketplace nationally using the internet, social media, email, and our growing database
  • Set discovery meetings for assigned AE
  • Travel with/without AE to visit prospects, host conferences, etc.
  • Contact said businesses by phone, email, social media, and other various forms of outreach
  • Assess if a lead has a genuine interest in the product, fits the target customer profile, and has the budget or authority to make a purchasing decision
  • Set online meetings with qualified leads for Account Executives in assigned territories
  • For leads that aren't ready to make an immediate purchase, BDRs engage in lead nurturing by maintaining regular contact to build a relationship, provide information, and address any concerns or questions the lead may have
  • Manage and update the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with accurate and up-to-date information about leads and interactions
