Assistant Teacher – room

Palmetto Preschool is hiring a Full-Time Assistant Teacher for our 2-year-old classroom.

We are looking for someone dependable, reliable, and calm — someone who understands that consistency matters in early childhood education.

If you don’t yet have childcare experience but are responsible, coachable, and eager to learn, we are willing to train the right candidate.

• Support the Lead Teacher in a structured classroom
• Maintain active supervision and ensure safety at all times
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children
• Assist with lesson plans and daily classroom routines
• Communicate professionally with families and team members

• Experience in a licensed childcare center preferred
• ECE coursework or credentials a plus
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required
• Professional, team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn and grow
