Position: Foreman (Heavy Civil Construction)

Seeking an experienced Foreman to lead field crews on heavy civil construction projects. This hands-on role is responsible for safely directing daily operations, coordinating crews and equipment, maintaining production schedules, and delivering quality work that exceeds client expectations.

The ideal candidate is a respected leader who leads by example, communicates effectively, develops their crew, and takes pride in building projects safely, efficiently, and with excellent craftmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise field crews on heavy civil construction projects.
  • Plan daily work activities to maximize safety, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
  • Read and interpret plans, specifications, grades, and construction layouts.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and project specifications.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by conducting daily huddles and JHA's.
  • Train, coach, and mentor crew members
  • Monitor production goals and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Complete daily reports, timecards, equipment documentation, and other required project records.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience leading crews on heavy civil construction projects including earthwork, utilities, grading, concrete, roadway, bridge, or similar infrastructure work.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, equipment operations, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to read construction plans and communicate project expectations clearly.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold crews accountable.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites throughout the company s operating region.
