Skilled Construction Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our construction team. This role requires experience in construction practices and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a variety of environments. The ideal candidate will carry out site preparation, assist with building tasks, operate tools and machinery, and support skilled tradespeople to ensure project success.

• Assist with site preparation, material handling, demolition, and cleanup activities
• Support carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades with daily tasks
• Operate hand and power tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Measure, cut, and install materials such as wood, drywall, and concrete
• Mix, pour, and spread building materials as directed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe, organized work area
• Interpret construction plans and instructions from supervisors
• Communicate effectively with team members on project progress and needs
• Perform other related duties as assigned by project supervisors

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in construction or a similar laborer role
• Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Reliable transportation to job sites

• Vocational training or certifications in construction or related trades
• OSHA or other safety certifications
• Experience with specialized equipment or advanced construction techniques
• Bilingual skills for multi-language work environments
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical stamina and endurance
• Problem-solving skills
• Adherence to deadlines
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks

• Variable weather conditions
• Possible exposure to dust, noise, and hazardous materials (PPE provided)
• Full-time or project-based hours; overtime may be required
