Production Crew Member
Position Summary
Position provides support to PRC productions as running crew for main stage and second stage shows. Position focuses in one of the crew areas: stage management, deck, props, wardrobe, sound or electrics. These positions support their production department as assigned based upon the candidate’s experience and expertise. Rehearsal and performances occur during evenings and weekends. Day-to-day duties may include assisting during technical rehearsals, show set up, during performance and clean up and restore at the end of each performance.
Work is supervised by professional theater staff. Positions will work closely with outside professionals, undergraduate as well as graduate students in the Department of Dramatic Art.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Management Preferences
An understanding of the importance of the performing arts.
