Recruitment Range

$52,500 – $58,380

The salary range advertised is the designated recruitment range for this classification. Final salary offers will be determined by the candidate's education, relevant experience, internal equity alignment, and departmental budgetary parameters.

Brief Summary of Work for this Position

The Video Producer's responsibilities include video content creation, video editing, motion graphics, audio recording and editing. This position provides creative and technical decision‑making that enhances the technical and aesthetic quality of the university's marketing content. The Video Producer determines and organizes visual assets; coordinates equipment needs and provides technical and creative design and direction to produce content aligned with the university's strategic marketing guidance.

The position ensures that desired outcomes are achieved and that all university standards are met.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of experience related to the area of assignment in a broadcast television, radio, and emerging media environment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Education, Professional Skills and Experience
  • Graduation from an accredited community college or technical school with a two‑year degree in video and/or film and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in video production and photography, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Documentary‑style videography/marketing experience.
  • Basic social media skills.
