Itinerant Teacher Coach
Job Goal:
To provide retention and development of Exceptional Children's Teachers through supportive classroom strategies, coaching and mentoring that improve student outcomes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Education. Master's degree in Special Education
2. A current North Carolina teaching license, EC certification required.
3. Minimum of five years teaching experience; preferred experience as a mentor.
4. Strong computer skills.
5. Background, training, and experience in teacher evaluation.
Reports To:
Director of Special Education and Related Services
Terms of Employment:
Ten-month work year/Contract/FLSA Exempt
Starting Salary and/or Grade:
State teacher salary scale
