Plan and deliver instruction based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Enable students to learn subject matter and skills that contribute to their educational and social development. Utilize a personalized student data management system to individualize learning experiences. Use ongoing formative assessment to inform instructional decisions and design interventions. Participate in professional learning communities with colleagues and faculty from the Watson College of Education.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective math instruction for middle grades students.
• Implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Use data-driven assessment to guide teaching and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with classmates and academic staff in kinship network and professional learning communities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student progress records.

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• Valid teaching credential for middle‑grade mathematics in North Carolina.
• Demonstrated ability to use technology and data systems for instruction.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
