English Teacher in Columbus, IN

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our clients in Columbus, IN**.

• Availability:
  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 4 pm-8 pm
• Lesson

  Columbus, IN 47203 (near Columbus Endodontics on 3200 Middle Dr)
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: 3x per week
• Lesson Duration: 1h per learner
• Current target language level:
  Beginner (mom), Intermediate (sons)
• Native and other spoken languages:
  Spanish
• Student’s language needs and goals:
  Daily communication, speak better, and improve communication
• Additional Information:
  Building vocabulary, listening comprehension tips and strategies, common phrases native speakers use every day, and conversations with native speakers.

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

• To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field
• To have a minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience
• Experience teaching children is a must
