Temporary faculty position for the 2026–2027 Academic Year, teaching courses in one or more of the following disciplines:
Nursing, Clinical Research.

The academic calendar includes the following semesters:
Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027.

• Undergraduate course teaching: Master’s degree with 9 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline (nursing only) from an accredited institution.
• Graduate course teaching: Terminal doctoral degree (nursing, research, education) from an accredited institution.
• Equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures may also be considered.

Teaching experience preferred.

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) faculty must have an active North Carolina NP license and board certification.
• Prelicensure and Nurse Educator faculty must have a North Carolina RN license.

The School of Nursing (SON) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) offers a range of degree and certificate programs, including BSN, DNP, MSN, and Clinical Research tracks.

Final candidates are subject to criminal and sex offender background checks and may be required to submit to urine drug screening depending on teaching assignments. Some vacancies may also require credit or motor vehicle checks. UNC Wilmington participates in E-Verify.
