Welding Instructor

East Central College has openings for a part-time (adjunct) Welding Instructors. The instructor is responsible for providing effective learning strategies and real-world welding experiences such as structural welding, fabrication, fitting, blueprint reading, along with multi-process welding to provide high quality welding knowledge for future students entering into the welding workforce.

(A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications).

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Candidate should be experienced in teaching Career Technical fieldhowever, a comparable amount of training, education, certifications, or work-related experience will be considered.

Adjuncts are hired on a per semester basis and are eligible to teach a maximum of 18 credit hours per calendar year and only9 credit hours per semester.

Adjuncts are paid per credit hour (pch) based on level of degree obtained.
