At the heart of GLOW Academy is a focus on “whole girl” education. We seek to foster the growth of leadership and confidence in our students and build and sustain family support, all while engaging all of our students in a rigorous college preparatory program. This means that GLOW emphasizes the following areas to ensure that each girl has a successful 6-12 experience and continues on to college: leadership development, early college and career awareness, health and wellness and expanded opportunities in science, technology, math and the arts.
WHOWE ARE LOOKING FOR TO JOIN THE GLOW TEAM
GLOW is adding to its Exceptional Children’s team of 7 teachers with the addition of a full time One-On-One Teacher Assistant. This main role for the One-on-One assistant is to provide individualized support to one student with special needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and active participation in educational activities. This role involves assisting with personal care, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and under the supervision of the classroom teacher, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
A secondary role for this position is to assist the teacher with other students in the classroom and perform other duties as assigned.

HOURS:7:45am-3:30pm (not to exceed 40 hours/week)
COMPENSATION:$16.07 / hour
