Brief Summary of Work for this Position

The College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts is seeking temporary/part-time faculty, for the academic year , with the ability to teach in one or more of the following Humanities departments and disciplines:

  • Communication Studies
  • English
  • Graduate Liberal Studies
  • History
  • Philosophy and Religion
  • UNCW Gender Studies and Research Center
  • World Languages and Cultures

The academic year  includes:

  • Summer 2026
  • Fall 2026
  • Spring 2027
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Undergraduate course teaching:
Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

Graduate course teaching:
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.
