Overview

The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) seeks temporary/part‑time faculty to teach Psychology courses during Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027. Qualified candidates should have a strong background in one or more of the following psychology disciplines:
Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, Learning (Behavior Analysis), Neuroscience & Behavior, Social/Personality.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned Psychology courses for the specified academic terms.

Demonstrate eligibility to teach by meeting credentialing requirements based on official transcripts and documentation before appointment.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate course teaching:
    Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Graduate course teaching:
    Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.
Employment Details

This is a temporary position; the assignment length will be based on department need, possibly with continuation. Temporary employees are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave. Temporary employees are subject to the Affordable Care Act guidelines.
