SummaryThe College of Science and Engineering is seeking temporary or part‑time faculty for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027. Faculty will provide instruction and, where possible, research opportunities in the natural and behavioral sciences, information technology, data science, computer science, mathematics, pre‑engineering, and engineering.
Teaching Responsibilities- Teach one or more courses in Biology and Marine Biology
- Chemistry and Biochemistry
- Earth and Ocean Sciences
- Environmental Sciences
- Physics and Physical Oceanography
Undergraduate course teaching:
Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
Graduate course teaching:
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
Equivalent professional experience, certifications, or licensure may also be considered.
Applicants must demonstrate eligibility to teach assigned courses by successfully meeting credentialing requirements based on official transcripts and other documentation. Temporary employees are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave; they are subject to Affordable Care Act guidelines.
