Temporary Faculty; Cameron School of Business Academic Year 2026-2027

Overview

The Cameron School of Business is seeking temporary/part-time faculty for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027, with the ability to teach in one or more of the following departments and disciplines:

• Accountancy
• Business Law
• Supply Chain Management
• Business Analytics
• Information Systems
• Economics and Finance
• International Business
• Management
• Human Resources
• Entrepreneurship
• Marketing

Temporary faculty may teach in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027, and assignments may be in one or more of the listed disciplines.

Undergraduate course teaching: Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

Graduate course teaching: Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.

Final candidates are subject to criminal & sex offender background checks. Some vacancies also require credit or motor vehicle checks. UNCW Wilmington participates in E-Verify. Prior to the official appointment to the university, the candidate(s) selected for hire must be able to demonstrate eligibility to teach assigned courses by successfully meeting the credentialing requirements based on official transcripts and other documentation as required. This is a temporary position. The length of the assignment will be based on department need with the possibility of continuation. Employees in temporary positions are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave.
