The College is seeking temporary/part-time faculty, for the academic year , with the ability to teach in one or more of the following Social Sciences departments and disciplines:
Anthropology;
International Studies;
Public and International Affairs;
Sociology and Criminology. The academic year includes Summer 2026, Fall 2026, and Spring 2027.
Undergraduate course teaching:
Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
Graduate course teaching:
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.
Special Instructions to ApplicantsPrior to the official appointment to the university, the candidate(s) selected for hire must be able to demonstrate eligibility to teach assigned courses by successfully meeting the credentialing requirements based on official transcripts and other documentation as required. The length of the assignment will be based on department need with the possibility of continuation. Employees in temporary positions are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave.
