Temporary Faculty

The College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts is seeking temporary/part‑time faculty for the academic year 2026‑2027, with the ability to teach in one or more of the following Arts departments and disciplines.

• Art and Art History
• Creative Writing
• Film Studies
• Music
• Theatre

• Summer 2026
• Fall 2026
• Spring 2027

Undergraduate course teaching:
Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

Graduate course teaching:
Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution. Those with equivalent verifiable professional experience, certifications, and licensures in the discipline may also be considered.

Final candidates are subject to criminal & sex offender background checks. Some vacancies also require credit or motor vehicle checks. UNC Wilmington participates in E‑Verify.
