Durham County Council is seeking a Specialist Support Worker for Deaf children and young people to provide classroom and small-group intervention support, under the guidance of our specialist teachers. The role is based in our Enhanced Learning Provisions and may flex across primary, secondary and outreach settings.
You will work with pupils with hearing impairments, may need British Sign Language skills or a willingness to learn, and will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
