The Electrical Engineer will support the design, testing, and production of secure hardware systems used in OPSWAT’s cybersecurity product lines. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hardware development, electronics testing, and secure manufacturing.

• Assist with electrical design, schematic review, and PCB layout verification.
• Perform hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and production units.
• Support firmware/hardware integration efforts with senior engineers.
• Create and update engineering documents, test reports, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Work hands-on in OPSWAT’s hardware test lab and manufacturing environment.
• Help evaluate components, suppliers, and hardware assemblies for reliability and quality.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective-action processes for hardware issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and supply-chain teams to ensure hardware meets security and performance standards.
• Assist with hands-on tasks, such as crimping, soldering, and harness design.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldwith two years of related experience.
• Understanding ofcircuits, electronics, PCB design, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read schematics and follow technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

• Experience with embedded systems or microcontrollers (Arduino, STM
  32, ESP
  32, etc.).
• Exposure toPCB design tools (Altium,KiCad, OrCAD, etc.).
• Internship or project experience in hardware design or testing.
• Knowledge of hardware manufacturing, QA, or cybersecurity hardware concepts.
• Familiar withpower electronics.
• Computer Science skills.
• ITServerbuilds andrelatedcomponents.

• Hands-on engineering experience in a modern hardware production facility.
• Training and mentorship from experienced hardware, firmware, and manufacturing engineers.
