Job Overview
Corning is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Division Engineering team in Wilmington, NC. This role provides technical leadership and execution support for manufacturing and engineering projects that improve process readiness, scale‑up, and operational performance.

Qualifications- BS or MS in Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial, or Ceramic Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–5+ years of engineering or related technical experience.
- Strong problem‑solving, project management, and financial analysis skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years program/project management experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
- Project management certification.
- Lean manufacturing training.
15–20% within North America; possible international travel depending on assignment.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $97,542.00 – $ for full‑time status. Starting pay depends on factors such as location, market, experience, training, and education.
