Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 per year
Job Details: Civil Project Engineer EIT/PE (Land Development) – Wilmington, NC. Salary ranges from $80k to $140k depending on years of experience and certifications.
We are seeking a Mid to Senior Level Civil Engineer to join our team in Wilmington, NC. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in design, permitting, and production of full construction documents for both site development (commercial/residential) and public utility projects. Must have strong job stability, communication skills, and work authorization. We offer full benefits, competitive compensation, and advancement opportunities.
Qualifications- 4-8+ years of Civil/Land Development experience.
- EIT or PE License preferred.
- Strong civil background in site development, permitting, and construction estimating.
- Able to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience in designing projects from conceptual to construction.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, HydroCAD, Hydraflow Storm Sewer and Hydrographs, WaterCAD, AutoTURN, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and direct client interaction.
- Act as lead engineer/designer for site development and/or water and wastewater projects.
- Produce construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater detention/retention, storm drainage, water and sewer, roadway, pump station, and force main design as well as preparation of all associated calculations, reports, and other supporting documents.
- Perform project design duties with a team to develop detailed design documents for construction projects.
- Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits.
