Carrier’s Commercial Refrigeration North America team is building solutions to decarbonize the refrigeration industry. The Senior Manager, Commissioning Engineer is the key point of contact to the customer to ensure a successful commissioning for projects in North America. The role will define and develop a team of field services professionals to deliver customer expectations and timelines.

• Owns full on-site installation delivery management on quality and schedule of several assigned installation projects (some may run in parallel)

• Co-owns management of site performance, quality issues, quality claim process, processing and approving change requests, commissioning, and handover to customer

• Supports project documentation management

• Owns the internal and external EH&S policies and procedures on site are implement across all assigned projects

• Ensures defined standards, processes, and deadlines are being followed across all assigned projects

• Supports customer relationship development on assigned projects, coordinates closely with respective project manages on cross functional responsibilities, performance, and issues

• High School Diploma/GED with 12+ years of experience in application engineering or construction project management OR Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in application engineering or construction project management.

• Ability to travel 50-70% of the time

• Mechanical Engineering

• HVAC installation experience

• Experience with ERP, specialized digital tools, MS Office

• Project management skills

• Project management certification
