Job Overview
All resources and logistics required to perform oversight, services and repair activities on GVH vendor’s and customers’ site/property. Activities contribute to replacement, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of sold or existing products, including all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial). The role manages maintenance facilities and field services engineering, affecting departmental operations and is responsible for planning and execution. Execution occurs within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures, with some autonomy and guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support in project planning, scheduling, drawing reviews, customer interaction, vendor oversight, tooling assembly & qualification, and on‑site technical direction for installation of nuclear components or repairs.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor in support of reactor modification equipment manufacturing and installation.
- Develop in‑depth knowledge of a technical discipline and use prior experience and technical expertise to execute policy and strategy.
- Use analytical thinking and judgment to solve straightforward tasks and propose solutions within guidance.
- Acquire and maintain unescorted access to nuclear plants and facilitate project coordination among teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college/university OR 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time in the US and internationally.
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to nuclear plants.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Experience with BWR vessel internal hardware or similar nuclear industry knowledge.
- Knowledge of nuclear industry products and services.
- Experience working with nuclear power plant outages/services and with customers.
- Ability to interface effectively with customers and technical support teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Technical writing background is a plus.
- Flexibility to changing environments and stakeholders.
- Competitive compensation ranging from $78,800 to $131,200 per annum with geographic differential.
