US Tech Solutions is seeking a mechanical drafting assistant for a 12-month contract in Wilmington, NC. The role supports the area drafting lead by preparing engineering drawings in Autodesk Vault, creating 3D models, and editing existing drawings to meet drafting standards. No new design activity is expected.
Responsibilities include converting legacy drawings, creating 2D drawings from 3D models, and gathering production data to update drawings. Hybrid work 3-4 days remote.
