Applies an extensive knowledge of design management concepts, principles, methods and practices as well as knowledge of methods, practices and processes of engineering and science disciplines.

Ensures technical quality for assigned projects and serves as Engineering's point of contact for issues related to technical quality.

Executes role of Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on assigned Projects.

Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations for projects of considerable scope and complexity as measured by their diversity, geographical area, management demands, technical and public issues.

Collaborates with Project Manager (PM), Project Delivery Team (PDT), and Stakeholders to clearly define project scope, criteria, and schedule.

Creates, manages, coordinates, reviews, and provides engineering and technical advice relative to quality, design cost, and design schedule aspects in the production of all design, construction, and operations and maintenance products.
