We’re looking for a talented Civil CADD Technician to join our team in our Wilmington, NC branch and help turn engineering concepts into real-world projects. In this role, you’ll work with experienced Engineers and Project Managers, using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other industry tools to create detailed plans and support projects from design through construction.

You’ll enjoy a diverse role that combines design, drafting, fieldwork, problem-solving, and collaboration and includes:

  • Creating accurate engineering drawings, plans, and contract documents.
  • Supporting Engineers and Project Managers with design development and project documentation.
  • Working with clients, contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders to address project needs.
  • Conduct fieldwork, research, and data collection to support designs.
  • Help develop solutions for a variety of engineering and construction projects.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CADD software and stay current with new technology and industry practices.
  • Take on special projects that allow you to expand your skills and contribute beyond day-to-day drafting.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience
  • Associate degree and/or experience to support the role
  • Hands-on skill (updating, maintaining, operation and evaluating) with Civil 3D and related design software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • AutoCAD certification is a plus
  • Comfort following highly detailed oral and written instructions
  • A clear communicator who's comfortable working with contractors, clients, and coworkers alike
