Civil Designer

Job Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire) Position About the Opportunity

We are seeking an AutoCAD Designer/Technician to join our growing civil engineering team in Wilmington, NC. This is a great opportunity for a drafting professional who enjoys working closely with engineers, producing quality plans, and supporting civil infrastructure and site development projects.

• Create and revise AutoCAD drawings based on engineer markups
• Support civil engineering projects involving site development, roadway, and stormwater design
• Update plans and incorporate project revisions throughout the design process
• Coordinate with architects and project stakeholders to obtain required files and information
• Collaborate directly with engineers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ensure drawings meet company and project standards

• 1+ year of AutoCAD drafting experience
• Ability to work on-site in Wilmington, NC
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work occasional overtime when needed

• Familiarity with roadway and stormwater systems
• Experience working directly with engineers and design teams
• Civil 3D experience is a plus
