AutoCAD Technician

Tunstall Consulting Engineers is seeking a CAD Technician to join its growing civil engineering team in Wilmington, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for a drafting professional who enjoys working closely with engineers, producing high-quality plans, and contributing to infrastructure and site development projects.

• Create and revise AutoCAD drawings based on engineer markups
• Support civil engineering projects including site development, roadway, and stormwater design
• Update plans and incorporate project revisions throughout the design process
• Coordinate with architects and other project stakeholders to obtain necessary files and information
• Collaborate directly with engineers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ensure drawings meet company and project standards

1+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience

Ability to work on-site in Wilmington, NC

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to work occasional overtime to meet project deadlines

• Experience with in a civil engineering consulting environment
• Familiarity with site development projects
• Knowledge of roadway and stormwater systems
• Experience working directly with engineers and design teams
