Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, along with progressive experience in mid- to senior-level finance roles. Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, and financial systems is required. CPA, CMA, master’s degree, and/or credit union experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include leading the annual budgeting and forecasting process, analyzing financial results and trends, developing actionable recommendations, and ensuring strong financial controls. The VP will also lead and develop the Finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Excite Credit Union is seeking a strategic Vice President of Finance to join its executive team. Reporting to the CEO, this leader will drive financial performance and support organizational growth through effective planning, analysis, and execution of financial strategies. The VP of Finance oversees budgeting, asset and liability management, capital expenditures, and investment activities, while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

This role serves as a key advisor to the leadership team and Board of Directors, providing insights on financial performance, risk, and strategic direction.
