Qualifications- Extensive experience in firefighting and working with Volunteer Fire Departments (5 years minimum).
- Possession of Level 1 Fire Inspector.
- Possession of a Valid Driver’s License.
- Vast Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
- Possession of NC Fire Inspector 2 within three (3) years of hire.
- NC Fire and Arson Investigator or NC FIT within three (3) years after hire.
- Must meet and maintain all minimum state and local training and education requirements for the position.
- This work requires the frequent exertion of up to 50 pounds of force and occasional exertion of up to 100 pounds of force.
- Work regularly requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
