The Health Unit Clerk works under the direction of the Nursing leadership and the staff nurse to provide clerical and support duties associated with maintaining the smooth functioning of the unit.

• Education
  :
  High School Diploma or GED, required. Vocational / Technical, preferred. Vocational education as a Unit Clerk or equivalent.
• Experience
  :
  One year experience Preferred. Prefer knowledge/experience with medical terminology, preferred.
• Additional skills preferred
  :
  Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence
