With over 65 staff and rapid growth, Beacon Bridge is handling 200+ new peer support referrals statewide. Our programs are fully aligned with NC Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policy (CCP) and operate audit-ready
, including virtual SAIOP services under updated guidelines.
The following counties have the highest number of new referrals and require immediate operational attention:
- Rockingham – 19
- New Hanover – 19
- Surry – 13
- Caldwell – 11
- Craven – 9
- Onslow – 5
- Gaston – 5
- Dare – 5
The Director will prioritize these counties to ensure timely service initiation, staffing alignment, and full compliance

We are seeking a Director of Peer Support Services to lead, scale, and manage our statewide peer support division while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and growth
.
This role requires an executive-level operator who can:
- Oversee multiple service lines and counties simultaneously
- Build and enforce robust compliance systems
- Integrate PSS with SAIOP, therapy, SACOT, and medication management
- Ensure immediate coverage in top concentration counties
- Maintain advanced knowledge of NC Medicaid CCP for Peer Support Services
- Ensure service delivery meets medical necessity, supervision, documentation, and billing standards
- Enforce zero-compromise compliance to prevent recoupments, audits, or exposure
- Oversee differentiation between PSS and SAIOP to avoid duplication or billing risk
- Implement internal audit and quality assurance systems
- Convert referrals into structured, compliant service delivery with priority on top concentration counties
- Develop staffing models and deployment strategies for high-demand regions
- Monitor referral-to-service timelines, staff productivity, and service utilization
- Align authorization, documentation, and reporting systems with Medicaid requirements
- Lead cross-program coordination across service lines
- Identify opportunities for responsible expansion across counties
- Optimize workflows and operational systems for efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive enterprise-wide growth
- Maintain full compliance while maximizing operational reach
- Executive experience managing Medicaid-funded behavioral health programs at scale
- Deep knowledge of NC Medicaid CCP
, LME/MCO processes, and audit requirements - Experience managing concurrent service lines (PSS, SAIOP, therapy, med management, SACOT)
- Proven ability to implement internal compliance monitoring systems
- Strong operational, financial, and performance management acumen
- Executive-level communication and leadership skills
- Zero compliance failures and audit-ready status
- Referral-to-admission conversion and timely service initiation, especially in top counties

- Compensation includes base salary BOE (based on experience) plus health benefits!
- Base salary will range from $55,000-$65,000 BOE to start.
