Director, Product – Partner Onboarding & Integration Platforms

About the role

Barclays US Consumer Bank is building next-generation partner onboarding and integration capabilities to accelerate launches, improve operational efficiency, and deliver a seamless partner experience across our co-branded card portfolio. In this Director-level product leadership role, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Launch & Integration capabilities—driving scalable, modular solutions that enable faster partner launches and repeatable delivery across the portfolio.

You will lead a team of 9 Product Owners (directly and indirectly) within a ~90-person agile tribe and partner closely with Engineering, Risk/Controls, Operations, and senior business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.

• Define the product vision and multi-quarter strategy for partner onboarding and integration capabilities aligned to business priorities and outcomes.
• Translate business strategy into a clear product roadmap balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform scalability.
• Lead, coach, and empower a team of Product Owners across multiple work streams.
• Partner with the Executive Engineering Lead and Release Train Engineer to determine resource mix, capacity allocation, and delivery plans.
• Collaborate with peer product leaders across the customer journey to design reusable, portfolio-wide capabilities.
• Champion APIs, data integration, automation, and platform modernization.
• Use data and analytics to monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure strong governance, regulatory alignment, and embedded risk and control practices.

• 10+ years of product management or related experience, including leading product teams.
• Proven ability to define and execute product strategies aligned to business outcomes.
• Strong business and financial acumen with experience evaluating ROI and trade-offs.
• Experience delivering digital platforms, APIs, data integrations, and automation.
• Track record leading change and transformation in complex environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Drive the product vision and strategy across the organization ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs, inclusive of internal and external customers, clients, or partners. Lead Product Owners ensure delivery of key strategic initiatives to embrace a customer journey led approach and unlock high quality business capabilities that drive business and customer value. They own the development of strategic direction for a specific product or portfolio, including the implementation of up-to-date systems, methodologies and processes.

Inspires, leads and supports the product development team in Servant leadership capacity to deliver high-impact solutions with healthy collaboration. Responsible for defining the product roadmap and prioritising initiatives. Works closely with cross-functional stakeholders, fosters collaboration, champion a customer-centric approach, and leverages market insights and domain expertise to shape and adapt product strategy.
