Technical Project Manager

Overview

MES Technical Project Manager – US, North Carolina – End of Year Contract. Our client, a globally recognized leader in biotechnology, focuses on tackling urgent medical challenges through cutting-edge science and innovation. This role supports a major East Coast project, helping to develop breakthrough treatments that make a difference to people’s health worldwide.

• Apply knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88 and S95 industry standards, 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11.
• Implement or manage platforms like Werum PAS-X or Siemens Opcenter.
• Proficiency with AVEVA PI (PI System) for real-time data capture and KPI tracking.
• Understand the interface between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), including DCS (Distributed Control Systems), PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), and ERP (SAP).
• Provide oversight of backup and recovery applications to ensure high availability and disaster recovery for critical manufacturing lines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Life Sciences is required;
  Master’s or MBA is preferred.
• Extensive project management experience specifically with MES and PI within a regulated pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment.
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is highly valued.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to coordinate between site engineers, quality assurance, and external vendors.
